What is the weather like in Lake Tahoe in August?

August is a beautiful time in Lake Tahoe! We expect the weather to be in the high 70s to low 80s during the day and the 50s at night. Bring layers!

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Yes! The ceremony and reception are at Thunderbird Lodge.

Will transportation be provided for the wedding day?

Yes! All guests are required to take the shuttle. Parking is not available at the venue.

Departure to the Wedding

• Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe – 111 Country Club Dr, Incline Village, NV 89451 – 3:30 PM

• Raley’s – 930 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village, NV 89451 – 3:45 PM

Please arrive at your pickup location at least 5 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. 

Return Shuttles from the Wedding

• Shuttles will begin returning guests at 8:00 PM

• Drop-off order: Raley’s → Hyatt

Is the ceremony or reception outside?

The ceremony and the reception will both be outside. Please bring layers as the temperatures drop in the evening.

What should I wear?

The dress code is semi-formal. The wedding reception and ceremony are both outside and we recommend that women wear block heels, wedges or flats. A light jacket is recommended in the evening.

Can I bring my kids?

We love your children, but the wedding is for adults only.

Should we rent a car?

We highly recommend it! If you want to experience all that this beautiful area has to offer, having a car will be helpful.

Is Uber a good way to get around?

Uber is not widely available in the area. If you need to schedule transportation, we recommend the following: Tahoe Elite, Tahoe Thunder Taxi, or Tahoe Sierra Transportation.
